Production and legislation

Facts about production and legislation

Plasma is obtained only from animals, which have been inspected and have been approved for slaughter for human consumption by veterinary surgeons (vets) and government authorities.

The whole production process is controlled, from the collection up to the final product, and applying the greatest quality standards throughout this process.

All the plasma is analyzed, analysis certificate is sent together with the commercial document when the plasma leaves the production plant. By mean of the certificate the plasma can be traced from the end user back to the farm where the pig was produced.

As a dealer we have to be approved by the Danish Feed administration to be able to sell plasma we have to follow the rules about audit, HACCP, traceability, transport and labeling.
